Hindu Terrorists and Secularists...

"Hindu Terrorists" .. "Hindus are terrorists as well".. "Hindu terror must be taken care of".. Brinda Karat and Amar Singh screaming on top of their voices. The same people if you remember, who were and are still are going all out to protect the so-called 'victims' of the Jamia encounter. They kept suggesting that Jihad had no religion. Yes we all agree, terror 'probably' does not have any religion.
We need to look at the Kashmir scenario. In 1941 when Kashmir pandits formed 15% of the population of J&K, they are now down to roughly 0.1%. Most people either migrated fearing for their lives or lost their lives. According to sources, 36289 lives have been lost in the valley between 1989 and 2003[ source: SATP ]. This was the most successful ethinic cleansing ever to happen.
We live in a world where every 'sane' human being is threatened by 'Islamic Terror'. Be it the United States, Israel, Spain, UK or India. Millions of lives have been lost. But come home and the Left parties, Samajwadi Party and even the congress, seemed to have turned a blind eye to this fact.
All muslims are not terrorists. Everyone(politicians not included) of us believe this. My neighbor is not and can not be a terrorist, I'm sure. But then just because of the fact that 'Jihadi terrorists' are killing people at random all over the country does not mean people have to prove that 'Hindus' are terrorists as well. What this is doing is 'Diverting' the attention towards Bajrang Dal and other so called 'Hindu Terrorist' outfits. Will these so called 'hindu terrorists' be killing people(mind you they have not targetted 'random people', even after we put an end to the 'Jihadi Terror' that has gripped our country?
How safe is any one of us when we get out of our homes? I'm one of those people who believes that 'A Wednesday' was not an exaggeration. At least I'm sure that it wont be ' The Hindu Terrorists' that would killing me.
The 'protectors of minorities' claim that if we start pointing fingers at muslims blaming them for terrorism, we will be marginalizing them and driving the innocent Muslims towards terrorism too. Now that must be correct. But then in the first place, no one blamed ALL muslims for the acts of terror that the police have evidence that certain people from the same religion have committed. But then when the police arrest them, they are being framed! Great for the country. The shopkeeper near my house(A muslim) lives without fear. None of us suspect he will be a terrorist. But should not the real terrorists be put to death?
Hindu bashing seems to be the way our country is headed. First people put up pictures of Saraswati, Seetha, n all in the nude. Then others bring out literature claiming certain Hindu godesses were 'prostitutes'. Hindus all over the country live in fear. But then it was only time before a radical group came out and reacted. And reacting they have started with vengance. Now the same logic that applies to Muslims do not to the Hindus. Even if we feel marginalized we spineless Hindus will not react.
I do not support the acts of the Radical Hindu out fits. But just imagine, how much more longer do Hindus live in fear in their own country. If the Hindu hit back gets more wide spread, the country will only go to the dogs. Banning them will make no difference. The only solution is to control 'REAL TERROR' and make the normal Hindu, who by the way does not vote and so is not a big vote bank', feel safe in his country. Remember you can not clap with just one hand.
Stop Hindu bashing. Thats my request to the Pseudo-Secularists.
I only hope that the 'Jihadi Terror', 'Forcible Conversions' and all other acts that hurt Hindu sentiments have to be stopped. Or there will only be more and more Radical break away Hindu Outfits. I do not want my country to go to the dogs.

Symbol of Love

"Ladies of the gentlemen, Beautiful monument for Beautiful womans."
"Emperor Shah Jahan created, SYMBOL OF LOVE"
Ranjit went on. Ranjit had been doing the job of a Tourist Guide for 4 years at the Taj MAhal. He would act as a tour guide for the foreigners who came down by the 1000s everyday. He had even picked up a bit of French and German. He even had got business cards printed with his phone number.

Scarlett kept staring at him all along. She knew it was love at first sight. At the end of the one hour tour around the entire complex, they were out and people were paying Ranjit. Eventually it was all done and Ranjit stood there counting the money. Scarlett looked around. She was in a group of 4. They stood there discussing something, she never heard. They all were now looking at Scarlett who stood there staring at Ranjit. "Lunch time sweetie" Mark said and Scarlett jumped up in surprise. She eventually managed to convince them to carry on and that she would join them at the hotel in the evening. Scarlett walked to Ranjit who stood there staring back at her. She approached him and said "Can I buy you a drink"
He stood there looking perplexed and stunned. Too stunned to even speak. He finally said "Madam Yes"
In the evening Mark, Smith and Errica walked into the hotel lobby. They looked at Ranjit walk by. He smiled at them.
Smith stood staring at him. He turned around and said "Look at him blush. Whats Scarlett upto?" They all now walked back to their room. They knocked at the room where Scarlett would be. No response for 5 minutes and so they tried calling her mobile. They heard it ring from inside. They went on and called up the reception. Sameer came to the where the 3 stood with a master key in hand. He moved forward and slowly opened the room for them. He stepped back. Errica was the first to enter. She let out a scream.
Sameer slowly walked away looking a bit scared.

Ranjit walked out of Scarlett's room as she kissed him good bye and promised to meet him the next day. She stood at the door and watched him walk away. Sameer walked in from the other side. He saw Scarlett say good bye. Ranjit crossed across the lobby. Scarlett stood there. She walked back into the room leaving the door open. She was in a world of her own. She slowly feel onto her bed and lied down there. Sameer now stood at the door and looked at Scarlett. He looked at her beautiful feet. He kept staring at them for a minute and then slowly moved into the room and locked the door.

Ranjit did not go back to the Taj for his evening 'shift'. He lay still in his bed thinking about her. He had met the love of his life. He head a few foot steps. Four policemen barged into his room and dragged him out.

The Rite

Six men marched ahead. Three on each side, supporting the casket draped in the tri-colour. A few thousand people watched in awe. Stunned to silence, a pack of youngsters stood fighting back their tears. The six men proceeded towards the crematorium as the trumpets blared at the back. Slowly the coffin was lowered in breath-taking formation. They had practiced these a 1000 times, but when it came to a real human-being, one of them, it was different. Slowly the two men at the back lifted the flag and moved forward. A moment later the men at the center, like a pair of synchronized swimmers, moved forward. Finally the two men at the front picked up the front end. They moved in perfect co-ordination to form a perfect triangular fold of the flag. The general received the flag from the men, turned around and marched forward. The men again in two rows behind him marched synchronized. The general inched closer towards an old lady, at the front of the crowd. She stood there awestruck looking at the men in uniform march towards her. It had been just six months. Her son, in similar uniform had gotten into the train, waving his hands as the train moved. The 6-foot general standing in front of her, brought her back to reality. Her hands trembled as she received the national flag. A single tear rolled down her cheek. She lifted her head to look at the general. A proud mother she was. Beside her, stood a young girl, tears in her eyes. She could still recall, that day 20 years ago, when she stood beside her mother, receiving the flag. How Ironic "Like father Like son" her mother used to tease him, the way he used to sit in front of the TV watching their favorite movie. She felt a chill run down her spine, as she looked at her 1 year old son clinging on to his dad, unaware of what was going on around him.

My First Mistake and the effect

March 1983:

I sat in one corner. The room was partially lit. I could see through the windows. I looked down through the window and could see the earth. How I was desperate to get down there. Then through the window I saw him coming. As usual he was on the swan. It flew magestically. Across the window. A moment later, he emerged into the room. The swan was left outside. He walked upto me and said.
"Son, Its time for you. Its time to go and enjoy the world."
I looked at him and smiled. I was happy. And a lot at that. Then he continued.
"But I give you 3 options. There are 3 different places where you could be born. You must choose one of them."
I shook my head in agreement as he continued.
"The first one is a farmer family in Hubli. You will go onto become a farmer as well. The next one, you could be born into a Tribe in Waynad. Or finally you could choose to be born in Bangalore"

APril 2008:

Scenario1:
I sit my sprawling bunglow near the farm land. Dad walks into the room and says
"Son, from now on those idiotic salaried class sitting in Bangalore, Madras and Delhi will be paying for the tractor fuel we use."
"Oh wow dad. You're great."
"And yeah I've placed an order for a Chav err Chavee err la Oppatra."
"It was great idea to stop paying those 4 loans we took"
"Yeah and thank god those working people dont vote.Phew"
"Yeah dad and hear that those people have promised free electricity dad."
"Yeah so we can buy our new washing machine and AC too and a new pumpset."
"Oh we must thank those people who took loans and used it for other purpose and finally comitted suicide."
"Hehe "

Scenario2:
I sit outside my new farmhouse in the Porch. Dad walks in and says
"Son, Dont worry"
"Dad I'm still worried about where to join"
"Dont worry son, they say, they'll be opening up the public sector too for reservations."
"Oh great dad. SO I can probably choose Infosys. But they say cut off is 70%, I have only 45"
"Oh dont worry they'll bring down the cut off for us"
"But dad, you've not been to office for a week now."
"Thats no problem, I can go there next week and sign my attendance."
"Great dad. Phew thanx to those people who made us a vote bank."
"And thank god the educated people dont VOTE"

Scenario3:
I sit in my 2BHK crammed up flat and blog. My dad walks in and says "Son, I wish we were not educated."
I come to office and sit here writing this bull shit.

*************************************************************************************

Q1: Why did the farmer's commit suicide.
Ans: He took huge loans in the name of buying tractors, pumpsets and for good quality seeds. But he bought low quality seeds, low quality pumpsets and used the remaining money for having huge marriages, booze and all other things. Finally the monsoon was bad and the crops failed. He could not repay the loans. He commits suicide. So what does the government do? Waive off the loans. SO what does the smart farmer do? He stops repaying the loans even if he can. Its waived off. So who loses? The country..

Q2: What about reservations?
Ans: Sigh. Votebank. How many deserving people lose a chance. How many of the truly underprevilaged actually benefit. Imagine a guy with no sense going on to become a surgeon. Oh so people will say, its not just them even the "General" people can be undeserving. Oh definitely, but then he goes no where anyway.

The Infoscion

The title says what I'd love to be called all my life. SIgh! Yeah, one night after I surrendered my ID card and walked out of the Infosys campus, it all of a sudden feels weird. Have I loved the company? I dont know. But definitely I love a lot of people there. Will be missing them all. Chatting with people on Office communicator, Blogging on the internal network, reading the forwarded mails and replying to all. I will miss all that.
Two years of life in Infosys has been real real great to say the least. Ok I have not made any progress as far as my career is concerned. But I have lived every moment of it and enjoyed it. Have had a huge number of great friends. People I do not want to miss. :( But life goes on.
Now sitting at home jobless, I'm thinking of all the good moments. At times it may bring tears to my eyes.
Tuesday I join my new company. New people, new domain, new field, new office and a new cubicle. SIgh!
But Infosys and the people there will be part of my fondest memmories for ever.
ThankYOU INFOSYS.

One Last Time

Just happened to watch a movie called "One Last Time". Its a 8 minute short movie about drugs and the affect on young guy.
The movie has been written and directed by a debutant director. But it does not seem so. It looks very good for a first timer. And especially when he started out with just a part script and no proper story board. The movie stars new comers Anish TG and Sinoy Xavier and the director himself in a small role. But the actors have put up very good performances.
It could definitely have an impact on the youth. Even if the movie acdtually does not manage to make people quit drugs, it can make people start using it. Beautifully depicts the life of an addict and the pleasure he derives out of these drugs.
All in all a super movie. A must watch. Its available on Youtube. Do check it out.

Having said all this lemme reveal to all you people, that the director is ME..
Please do watch the movie and let me know your valuable suggestions and comments.
